Welcome to the 2023 Summer Leadership Conference where we will come together to learn with and from each other as we build our capacity to leverage hope and create positive change for our schools, staff and students.

This year’s conference is designed to encourage leaders to continue leveraging hope as a strategy to create the conditions necessary for all students and staff to thrive now and in the future. Learning experiences will focus on equipping leaders with the knowledge and understanding necessary to champion the goals envisioned in the division’s strategic framework, Compass to 2025.

Looking for ways to build community and support teacher agency? Consider implementing a community of practice (CoP). A CoP is a group of people who share a common concern, a set of problems, or an interest in a topic and who come together to fulfill both individual and group goals. In this session, learn how PGI has created space for teachers to learn together through a CoP. Find out what has worked and consider how a CoP might work in your school or even across schools or offices.
