Welcome to the 2023 Summer Leadership Conference where we will come together to learn with and from each other as we build our capacity to leverage hope and create positive change for our schools, staff and students.

This year’s conference is designed to encourage leaders to continue leveraging hope as a strategy to create the conditions necessary for all students and staff to thrive now and in the future. Learning experiences will focus on equipping leaders with the knowledge and understanding necessary to champion the goals envisioned in the division’s strategic framework, Compass to 2025.

This session is open to all principals/APs/AAs who did not take this as a breakout at League. Part II will be offered as a follow up 1 hour session. During this session, participants will examine the impact of Covid-19 and other major events that have impacted the workforce, including the field of education. Time for discussion and reflection with colleagues will be built in as we review research to acquire strategies and approaches principals will need to consider to successfully lead today's (and tomorrow's) schools
